After the anticommunist revolution of 1989, the Romanian academic setting is under a continuous reform. This article presents the conclusions derived by a group of experts that could guide the current policies in the field. The conclusions are focused on: (1) research; (2) teaching; (3) innovative services; and (4) academic administration.
