The phenomenon of competition between individuals and groups (of individuals) was studied at the beginning of the last century by the mathematician John von Neumann, one of the creators of Game Theory. From another standpoint, the competition phenomena was also depicted by George Orwell in his novel "1984", published in 1949. In this paper, we propose an analysis of the competition phenomenon from John von Neumann's point of view but also from the point of view of others.
