Characterization of the higher technical education from Bucharest, which includes "Politehnica" University, is made in comparison to that similar in technologically developed countries. So, in periods in which our higher technical education remained at the level of that in the developed countries we had many engineers in the vanguard engineering world. In conclusion, the members of a university have outstanding contributions to the development of the technical sciences if the higher technical education is at the similar level of that from the technologically developed countries.
