Dr. Nicolae Bonciocat passed away on 31 iulie 2014. A prominent scientific personality, with an exceptionally wide background in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, an equally passionate practitioner of fundamental and experimental research and a Professor displaying exceptional professional skill, Dr. Nicolae Bonciocat was constantly preoccupied by the educational system, in particular by what is offered to the student or Ph.D student, as well as when, how and how much is offered. In this lecture, with persuasion and rigour, with originality and scientific culture, with logic and elegance, Dr. Nicolae Bonciocat introduces his concept on the organization of the educational system, from elementary school to doctorate studies, interpreting the Abel integral equation and generating an Abel-type model of education.
