Impact Factor versus Article Influence Score in Mathematics

A careful comparison of the two ranking list of journals from Mathematics sorted by AIS (article influence score) and by IF (impact factor) is done by using the data from ISI Web of Knowledge, 2011 JCR Science Edition, Thomson Reuters. The conclusion is that the classification of the journals based on the AIS is more relevant in Mathematics as the classification of the journals based on the IF.
