Some remarks regarding the history and the very beginning of the Scientometry and the journal Scientometrics are presented, particularly with the impact for the evaluation of the value of the activity of scientists (Hirsch index) are presented. The impact factor of the scientific journals, as an index of the value of the scientist who are publishing his/her papers in such top publications are discussed in contrast with values’ falsification, including scientomtry’s falsification. An interesting suggestion of a course of lectures in scientometry is also presented.
