The author, with a solid pedagogic and research experience, presents his opinions concerning the drawbacks of the scientific education in Romania. Although several expatriate Romanian scientists obtain remarcable results in the Western World, the schools in Romania are of a highly divergent quality and the majority of the graduates are of a poor quality. The instability in the legislative system, the festivistic atitudes, a high degree of bureaucracy, the overentusiastic and formal adaptation of Western World school reforms are responsible for the drawbacks of the Romanian school system.
