The Romanian Committee of History and Philosophy of Science and Technics (RCHPST) from the Romanian Academy is in charge with International Union of Science and Technics Philosophy’s Statute for the implementation and promoting the history, the philosophy of science and the research activities. The RCHPST objectives are to encourage and to organize meetings and connections between Romanian and foreign scientists.The president of RCHPST is one of the Romanian Academy’s elected vicepresident. Inside RCHPST are three divisions with seven branches and two interdisciplinary research groups. Contributions of the Committee’s members are published in three journals and one supplement, which are distributed in Romania’s libraries and abroad - in 11 countries.
