abstract ={ Graduate admission in the USA is based both on academic and undergraduate research activities. Academic performance is measured by two scores: (1) the undergraduate grade point average (UGPA), which is the average of all graded over the four years of undergraduate studies, and (2) the score of a nation-wide standardized test called Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Most graduate schools cover all cost incurred by a PhD candidate during the four-five years of study with Teaching Assistantships, Research Assistantships, or Fellowships. },
